Write down the terms for one delivery
Record the product and unit, the permitted weight range per animal, the lot size, and the place and date of delivery. Note who confirmed each term and when. Turn missing terms into questions.
Try it yourself
Choose one possible sale. Write down two confirmed terms and one question whose answer could change your delivery decision.
From the farm
Worked example
A farm has 12 head averaging 420 kg, or 5,040 kg live weight. The buyer has requested at least 15 head in writing. The lot is three head short even if the weight range fits. Ask if the buyer will accept a smaller delivery.
