Allocate haulage between pens
Assign a shared transport charge to two feed records without counting it twice.
Check your understanding
Use one allocation basis
When one delivery serves two pens and each pen’s share is weighed, you can split haulage in proportion to delivered weight. Record the method and check that transport was invoiced separately.
Try it yourself
Repeat the example for pens receiving 800 and 1,200 kg. With the same KZT 24,000 charge, the shares are KZT 9,600 and 14,400. Check that they add back to the invoice.
From the farm
Worked example
Of 2,000 kg, pen A receives 500 kg and pen B receives 1,500 kg. A separate haulage invoice is KZT 24,000. Allocate 24,000 × 500 ÷ 2,000 = KZT 6,000 to A and KZT 18,000 to B.
